LESSON 3 PART 2: MAKING A RESTORE POINT WITHIN SYSTEM RESTORE To make a System Restore Point, do the following Go to the Start Menu by pressing Windows Key and press P for Programmes. Press Enter on Accessories which is the first item in the list. Press the letter S until you come to System Tools and press Enter Press the letter S until you find System Restore and press Enter Your computer will start speaking to you. Stop this by pressing the Control Key. Hold down the Alt Key and press E, to create a Restore Point You will be asked to type a name for your System Restore Point. Let's call it My restore. Your computer will automatically add the time and date of when you made this System Restore Point. Note that when you are writing information in to an Edit Box, Jaws Users must insure that Forms mode is turned on and Window-eyes Users, ensure that MSA Mode is turned off. END OF NOTE Press the Alt Key and tap the letter N for Next Press the Alt key and the letter C for Close, which will complete the task. Now you have made a System Restore Point where you can take your computer back to if your computer has a problem and you know that your computer behaved well on that particular day
