Win Golf is a pc game that was written by Jim Kitchen specifically for blind players. There is no visual content to the game at all and therefore you can play against your sighted friends and feel assured that they are not gaining any advantage. The game uses sound effects and sapi 5 speech to enable you to enjoy the full golfing experience. With over 250 courses built in to the program and the ability to create your own this game will provide you with hours of fun.
Although originally designed as a single player game, it is possible to play against others simply by all players playing on the same course in their own program and using either the communicator or skype or another voice program so that everyone can hear each other's play.
If you have never played any Jim Kitchen games before it is important that you download Win Kit first. Once downloaded open the zip file and run setup.exe that is inside. Once you have done that or if you already have the Kitchensinc Menus install then you can download the Golf Game here.
To instal the program first download the file using the above link.
Once the program has downloaded run it and use the unzip button to extract all the necessary program files to your computer.
You will now be able to run golf from within the kitchensinc menu which will be on your start menu.

Jim Kitchen has released some addon packs containing new courses which can be downloaded here. To install these packs activate the desired link below and when prompted choose the run button. You may have to activate another run button after that to. Then when the program runs and asks you were you want to unzip the files to make sure the path matches the place where you installed the game and hit enter to put the new courses in your folder. all done.
