The second TAFN golf League built on the success of the first and had almost double the number of players with close to 40 people taking part. This large number of players meant that we had to employ a multi didvision fdormat for the first time. This had many advantages to it and also brought to light a number of problems which had to be tackled along the way.
We had a fantastic number of people join this time that were new to the game and it was excelent to see so many people helping eachother out to get up to speed. As always we saw some great golf and some nail biting moments especially towards the end of the league. The standrd of play has been excellent at times with some truly monumental performances.
John H was the final winner and well deserved it was too. John exhibited a great standard of play along with a consistancy that was hard to beat. The gentle Giant clinched victory in the final against Maria and as his prize named one of the golf rooms, the Giant's Causeway.
Congratulations and well done to everyone who took part, I have certainly enjoyed running it.
I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the league, both directly and indirectly, as without you all this could not have happened.
Many Thanks.
