2009 saw the TAFN league split into to seperate leagues. The Ultimate league was designed to be a serious competition with the focus on the golf and tightness of rules. The format was regulation and no beeps were allowed on the game.
The tight rules and restrictions did notr deter the players many of whom had never played regulation prior to signing up for the league. Instead people settled in for a promisingly taxing league.
The standard of golf was excellent and the league itself was extremely close with only 2 points seperating the top 5 at the end. It was Paul who ended up the winner but by only one point. Well done to Trevor who came second in his first league on TAFN. Joint third place was shared by Catherine, Billy and Lee. Well done to all those that took part and here's to the next one.
