The TAFN Winter Classic tournament took place on Saturday the 8th and Sunday 9th of November 2008. Please find some info about the tournament below.

The tournament will consist of two rounds. Round 1 will be a pairs round. The captains will decide on who will be paired with who and what order the pairs will play in. They will not know the other captains order so the pairs will not know who they are playing till Lee receives both lists and matches them up. There will be two sessions of play on the saturday one starting at 10.30am GMT and one starting at 1pm GMT. The scores of both teamates will be combined and the winning team in each game will be awarded 1 point or half a point each if the game is drawn.
Round 2 will be played on Sunday and will be a singles round. The captains will again decide the order of play without the knowledge of each other's list and then Lee will match the lists together to get the fixtures. Again two sessions of play will take place at the same times of 10.30am and 1pm GMT. The winner of each match will gain one point for their team or again half a point each for a draw. At the end of the day the team with the most points wins.
