A place in cyberspace where we honour and remember Friends who are sadly no longer with us.
T.A.F.N. members were devastated to hear that Ted O'Dwyer sadly passed away in December 2009. Ted was a well-liked, friendly and good humoured man of incredible character who made a real difference, and news of his passing was a shock to his many friends online. Messages of support flooded in to our mailing lists, and a minute's silence was observed at our Christmas party in honour and rememberance of this wonderful man who meant so much to so many. We would like to express our sincerest condolences to all of Ted's friends and family at this difficult time. Tribute to Ted O'Dwyer
It is with deep regret that we announce the sad loss of Bill Cox, who was a TAFN member in our early days. Bill was an octogenarian who had been a guide dog owner for 50 years, having had 8 dogs during that time. He was also well known for his social work with other blind people and in particular for his services to tape and audio services during the 1970s and 80s. Many people passed on their best wishes via our mailing lists, and TAFN would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Bill's wife Beryl, and to all of his family and friends.
Bill was a member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. Obituary for Bill Cox

We sadly lost Dick Craig from Ireland, in January 2007. Apart from being an active TAFN member, who placed 4th overall in our 2006 quizzes, Dick was also a member of the Irish Radio Transmitters Society, who have published an online obituary. In lieu of flowers TAFN made a donation to the Irish Guide Dogs Association, in Dick's honour. Our sincere condolences to all of Dick Craig's relatives and friends.
We lost TAFN member Michael Insole from Kent, who despite having only recently joined us was a very popular & nice person who also volunteered for our Fundraising Team. Michael's funeral was on 3rd February 2006 and again we sent a floral tribute, again this was a very sad loss and our Condolences to Michael's wife and family.
We lost Martin Green from Cambridgeshire, who volunteered for TAFN in online drama's and was a brilliant computer programmer who taught braille in the prison service. Martin was a fantastic and caring guy and we'd also like to send our condolences to HIS friends and family.
