Site Review: Cute and Crafty

Web address: http://cutencrafty.com/shop/index.php

Brief Rating: A good site.

Crafters among us can browse here for, not only card making and scrapbooking materials but famous name teddy bears too!  Who wouldn't love to receive one as a gift, whether its hand-made or chosen for you by that special someone.

Based in Lychfield, Staffordshire, this isn't a huge site so it is easy to navigate and if you can't find what you need, they encourage personal contact by telephone or e-mail.

Site Review: English Yarns

Web Address: http://www.englishyarns.co.uk/

A very good site.

Shoreham Knitting and Needlecraft (English Yarns) specialise in products for the hand knitter and seamstress.   , they have been in business for over thirty years. The staff are keen needleworkers themselves so they are well qualified to advise you in what to buy or to help with any new project that you are thinking of undertaking. They specialize in the distribution of many knitting wools and yarns, including Rowan, Jaeger, RYC, Patons and Sirdar.  They stock knitting needles and other craft accessories and a vast range of haberdashery. The online store will send to anywhere in the world.  I placed an order on a  monday, and it was with me two days later.

Search for all your craft materials here.

Site Review: Laughing Hens

Web address: http://www.laughinghens.com

Brief Rating: A very good site.

LaughingHens, is, at first sight, a strange name for a company that sells craft products, but, it is based in a small rural village in Sussex, hence the reference to their own hens.

This site was recommended by Audrey Tonge, who has bought from them by phone and confirms that they take customer satisfaction very seriously.  Browse through the knitting yarns, patterns, needles and accessories.  Choose plain wools and cottons, or mixed yarns with added texture and colour.  There are also links to other useful craft sites.  If you are lucky enough to live down in Sussex, you can even attend their knitting and crochet classes and partake of their lunches made from local organically grown produce.
