For those interested in the measurement frequencies of light, here are the approximate measurements of the violet ray.
Key:
Frequency = Terahertz (one trillion cycles per second)
Wavelength = Nanometers
One meter equals 1,000,000,000 nanometers. One nanometer is about the length of ten atoms in a row.
Complementary colour = the complementary colour associated with each colour
Example
Violet
Wavelength
425 – 400 nm
Frequency
700 – 790 thz
Complementary colour
Yellow

Use colour in:
Clothing, natural raw food like fruit and vegetables. Drink solarised water. Use imagery. Sit in the sun for a couple of minutes only. Use gems and crystals.
What is a chakra:
It is the Sanskrit word for energy centres or a wheel.
noun: chakra; plural noun: chakras
in Indian thought, each of seven centres of spiritual power in the human body.
from Sanskrit cakra ‘wheel or circle’, from an Indo-European base meaning ‘turn’,
Expression Sofspirit

What colour will I use?
Find the colour, chakra number, area, properties, and avoidances relating to each of the colour vibrations here.
Red , primary colour – complementary is turquoise or blue, relates to adrenal glands and self-motivation.
Chakra 1, base , coccyx. Hottest slowest vibration of spectrum. Relates to action, assertiveness, courage, grounding, warmth.

Governs feet, legs, groin, reproductive organs, bladder, rectal, bowel and lower abdoninal areas. Red relates to the circulation, heart, temperature, blood and our mental state.
Do Not Use Red if you have high blood pressure, heart conditions, raised temperature, circulatory problems. Do not use red if you are in a state of panic or anxiety. Turquoise may be a helpful alternative for these.

Pink , the gentler complementary alternative, is wonderful for love and release. Takes slightly longer to work.
Treat – if using red Clothing, best not above the waist for a long time. Try pink instead.
For sport, good on the feet. Wear red socks for example, while active.
Eat red energy. Vegetables like tomatoes, red peppers, red-skinned fruits, red berries, or drink their juices.
Check out how to make and store solarise tap water. Just drink it, add some to hot or cold drinks for example.
Note: do not use blue if depressed, in a low mood or for relaxing muscles. Blue lowers temperature, mood and can slow circulation, so cramp can result.
Orange, tertiary colour – complementary indigo. Relates to spleen, reproductive organs and self-respect.
Chakra 2, sacrum. Warm. Relates to the inner child, upliftment, reproduction and creativity.
Think of the performer, writer, actor, painter, dreamer.

Use for viral infections, diarrhoea, balance of mind, body and spirit, sleeplessness, cooling, liver infections, colds ‘flu.
Note: if you find you are always wearing green, furnishing your home in green, then maybe you’re stuck and need a prod to move a little. Pink is useful for letting go of a barrier, and orange is good for upliftment and movement. So the tertiary salmon pink can be useful in taking a positive step to make little changes.
Use green in all green fruits and vegetables. Use in natural clothing and in solarised water.
For pink, use pink grapefruit and lighter red fruits and vegetables. You can combine pink grapefruit and orange juice for a salmon pink colour treat.
Over positive green, a need to manage everybody, love too much, inability to let go

Foods like blueberries, damsons, salmon and bilberries can be useful as blue support, also red fruit and vegetables are useful to improve negative aspects which apply to the blue vibration area.
turquoise, also chakra 5. Use if depressed, in a low mood, unable to stop talking too much.
Over positive, When we are trying to talk someone into something we know is not trustworthy. Such as in a selling capacity. Or when we shout to control, or make noise to exclude what we don’t want to hear.

Indigo secondary colour, complementary orange. For self-responsibility.
Chakra 6 Relates to the pituitary gland, thinking process, eyes, brain, forehead, cheeks, nose, hearing.
Governs thought processes, the ability to delegate. Relates to the teacher. If out of balance here, there can be migraine, headache, sore eyes, confusion and memory problems due to an inability to let go. Like the hamster on the wheel, the thoughts just go round and round. The complementary orange is useful in creating balance, energy, laughter and a sense of fun. It can help get things into perspective.
Indigo fruits and vegetables are best sought in damsons, bilberries, purple endive. Solarised water is useful using an amethyst for its stress-relieving properties. Use orange fruit and veg. if energy is necessary, or solarise water with a piece of carnelian, orange jasper or peach moonstone.

Over positive, can be dictatorial, arrogant, seem to be a know-all
Over negative,a loner aspect, where alcohol, drugs or seeing the world through rose tinted specs can replace the ability to face reality.
When shunning society, the sunny complementary yellow, or saffron when mixed with orange, can help to restore balance and improve the desire to mix.
Magenta, complementary turquoise. Relates to letting go
Not a chakra, but we use 8 as the colour reference. A tertiary colour, cerise is a mix of red and purple. It relates to the guiding principle of letting go, of true love and the balance of mankind.
When we are uncertain of our right to love ourselves, magenta can help us balance and make decisions to ensure we love in a balanced way.
If this thought makes us hot, try turquoise to ensure we can balance our emotions at the level of the heart, and that we can speak our truth without fear.
Foods – deep pink and purple fruits and vegetables.
Over positive, afraid to let go of undermining thoughts
Over negative, a lack of belief in our in-built ability to love the self

No chakra reference number. Black has many colour uses. Sometimes we use it to strengthen the vibrations of a colour. We can choose black clothes to present a chic appearance. We may hide behind it because we are not sure which colour to choose. Sometimes we don’t want anyone to know our colour preferences.
