TAFN is a growing worldwide charity located in the UK. We are run by volunteer members, for the benefit of people with sight loss. Our main focus is to provide help, support and leisure activities through our friendship.

We like to give a personal service to each and every guest and member. For this reason, our sign-up process is handled by a volunteer.

We thank you for your patience while our volunteer processes your guest membership. There’s a few things you can do while you wait:

  • Our volunteer membership administrator will look at your details and set up your account soon.
  • You will be sent a personal e-mail which will include your login information.

Is there anything I can do now?

Yes, we have created a quick start, 7 step welcome pack to help you get the most from your guest membership. It shouldn’t take more than 10 or 15 minutes to read.

This welcome pack is for your information about the organisation. To take full advantage of all the great things that are going on, we suggest you read through it carefully.

You will find information on who to contact if you have further questions or technical issues whilst trying to use our services. Volunteer members of our Help Desk team are experienced in many areas of computing. They will be only too pleased to try and assist you. Please contact us using the form at the end of this pack if there are any points or problems you wish to bring to our attention.
